Tuesday 3rd November
Sycamore embarked on their school trip to the STEAM museum in Swindon where they found out all about what life was like in World War 2.
After arriving at STEAM, Sycamore class experienced an air raid - they were shown what the inside of an air raid shelter looks like and we all sang songs to keep up our spirits and the noises of the bombs out.
We experienced emotional farewells to our families before being evacuated on a train. It was an exciting trip for everyone and we had an amazing day. Lewis said ‘there just weren’t enough hours in the day!’
