Admissions

Admissions

We welcome new children all year around. If you are applying for your child to start in Reception in 2021 please download the admissions policy and application form below. These need to be sent to the local authority. All in-year applications are made using the application form but through the school office.

We regret that in accordance with our Covid-19 risk assessments and for the safety of our pupils and staff, schools in the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership will not be offering parent tours at this time.

We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions parents and carers will make. We invite you to find out more about us by registering your interest in our forthcoming virtual tour, by emailing the office and continuing to visit our website which is regularly updated.

In-Year Applications

If your child is currently at primary school and you are looking to move them to Dundry, please contact the School Office to arrange to speak to the Executive Headteacher or Head of School and to establish whether there are places available for your child in the correct year group.

If you feel you would like to apply for a place for your child, please complete the application form and return to the school office asap.

Once we have received your application, it will be considered and if there is a vacancy we will then be in a position to offer you a place.  School places must be taken within 28 school days of the offer being made.

As an academy, Dundry Primary School is its own admission authority and is therefore responsible for all in-year admissions.
